According to Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, quarterback Kyler Murray is not expected to return to the field this season as he continues to recover from a foot injury.

It is widely expected that the former No. 1 overall pick will be made available on the trade market this offseason. Given the uncertainty surrounding the quarterback position for the New York Jets after this season, Murray’s name has surfaced as a potential option the organization could explore.
