New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson fully busted out in 2020 at BYU, a season that featured NFL-type abilities that made him the second pick.

What we thought going in was how it turned out. Joe Douglas did, indeed, make Zach Wilson the New York Jets next face of the franchise.

The BYU product enjoyed a rapid rise to the top over the past year. Battling competition concerns while making his collegiate home in Provo, UT, the Jets’ new versatile righty began his bust-out process during the early months of the 2020 season.

Unsurprisingly, he showcased incredible NFL-type skills from the jump.

Blewett’s Blitz is back to break down more of Zach Wilson, this time moving into the 2020 campaign.

  • How exactly did Wilson make such a rapid jump to stardom?
  • Why and how did he improve so much from 2019 to 2020?
  • Are all of his abilities translatable as it relates to the NFL?
  • How will he fit into Mike LaFleur’s offensive scheme?
