New York Jets players could be found all over the New York City area
As new and former New York Jets indulge in the spectacles of New York City, fans can look online to find the different strokes of the different folks they cheer for. With all that the city has to offer, fan-favorite players have been enjoying their weekends in the Big Apple in a variety of ways.
Rookie Jermaine Johnson has quietly been engaging with the softer side of his new football home. By the looks of it, he’s as great of a fit for the “Finer Things Club” as he is for a big-time edge rusher.
Johnson spent his Saturday night out in the Big Apple, but not in quite the same fashion as his teammates thus far. He made his way to a show on Saturday night to see The Lion King and made sure to pay a visit to the iconic lights of Times Square (via IG Stories).
Fast forward to a beautiful Sunday, and Johnson traded in entertainment for education and paid a visit to the Museum of Natural History. The delicacies may not be for everyone, but the rookie has shown us he’s not afraid to be the intellectual of the team.
While Mufasa and Co. made for a delightful night, a different kind of roar could be heard across the way at Madison Square Garden. With NHL playoffs marching along, Sauce Gardner decided to crash Game 6 of Rangers vs. Hurricanes.

Playoff hockey has been popular among the Jets in recent years, with players attending the Islanders’ deep run last year. This year, it’s the other half of New York hockey drawing the fanfare while the Jets are in town for OTAs. As big-time athletes, it’s hard to imagine a more exhilarating time than getting in on the playoff game-day energy. Ideally, the next time this happens for the Jets will under the bright lights of MetLife Stadium this winter.
Not a hockey fan? Looking for adventure instead of acting? It sounds like maybe you’d prefer to link up with a different fearsome foursome on a Saturday night. Away from the plays and playoffs, you’ll find Zach Wilson, Dan Feeney, Braxton Berrios, and CJ Uzomah out partying with the ladies.
The ladies (and everybody else, really), they always be flocking in the direction of … the MULLET. Simply irresistible. #Jets https://t.co/uCH1yTfYGU

We’ve all seen the immaculate bromance that’s developed between Berrios and Wilson. Throw in the killer mullet of Feeney and the handsome new tight end in Uzomah, and you’ve got a crew that’s tough to turn down on any occasion.
Wilson has been no stranger to putting himself out into the public eye of the New York media. Throughout his tour of New York sports, he’s been found cheering on the Rangers, Mets, Knicks, and Islanders. Despite his fandoms being put to question, it’s clear he’s not afraid to put himself out there and have a good time in his football home.
The youth of this Jets team is certainly on display. The energy and presence of the players are things that have not been abundant in recent years; however, the camaraderie and brotherhood are things that shouldn’t be easily dismissed. Building chemistry off the field can play a big role in how the team gels come September, and the locker room effects are certainly positive.
Regardless of whether you take the Jermaine Johnson route, or unleash your party animal, the big city of dreams shows us that life is good for the players. For now, we fans can hope and pray that they take it to the turf in the near future too.
