It was already evident that Sauce Gardner is one of the most hilarious players on the New York Jets, but a new video only confirms the fact.

In a post from the team, the Jets’ star cornerback displayed his off-field talents during the team’s last preseason game against the New York Giants.

In a quick 40-second clip, the Cincinnati product was shown listening to a referee discussion, asking for the scoreboard to correct his weight to 197, giving a Giants defender the too-small celebration, and hyping up running back Israel Abanikanda.

Gardner, whether on or off the field, always attracts attention. His play stands out heavily on the field, locking down any wide receiver who lines up across from him. Since his arrival in the NFL two years ago, nobody has produced the way Gardner has at the cornerback position.

The same could be said for Gardner off the field. He consistently shows his personality by interacting with fans in person or on social media. While it has got him into some minor controversy at times, he is considered one of the more down-to-earth stars on the Jets and potentially the NFL.

There is no reason to expect anything but the best from Garnder heading into the 2024 season. He is on an impressive trajectory through two years and will be in line to reset the cornerback market with another good year.

Now, it seems that Gardner is even more comfortable and ready to compete, especially with the possibility of him traveling with wideouts this season. If Gardner brings more of his personality to combine with his play on the field, the star cornerback could vault himself into a new level of superstardom.
