NASHVILLE, TN—The New York Jets currently trail 10-7 in their Week 2 matchup against the Tennesee Titans.

New York’s lone score came courtesy of a Braelon Allen touchdown reception in the second quarter.

The Titans have moved the ball relatively well against the Jets. They have found space in their coverage and run the ball relatively well for most of the game.

This showed up on the scoreboard with a Calvin Ridley jet motion that went for a rushing touchdown, coupled with a Nick Folk field goal at the end of the half.

However, Tennesee has made some mistakes that helped the Jets defense gain a bit of momentum.

Will Levis had an inexplicable fumble on a third down—recovered by Quincy Willaims. He also threw an interception, which was an amazing recovery play by Brandin Echols.

On offense, the team was relatively stagnant for most of the first half. However, Aaron Rodgers and company engineered a great drive to get the Jets into the end zone. Garrett Wilson had multiple third-down conversions, and Tyler Conklin had a great first down.

The star of the show was Braelon Allen, though. He had multiple nice catches and runs, including the one referenced earlier that turned into his first touchdown in the NFL.

For the Jets to win this game, they need their defense to step up. They cannot commit multiple penalties and must find a way to shut the Titans down. They also need their offense to put together more lengthy drives and put more points on the board.

It will be a battle, but the Jets must find a way to win this one.
