NY Jets’ Malachi Corley spots UFO in Florida (Video)

New York Jets' Malachi Corley spots a UFO in the great state of Florida, and he wasn't shy about letting his X followers know about it.

Who is the receiver’s version of special agent Dana Skully?

Just when you thought the Gang Green news had hit a low point, one of their youngsters posted some weird, wild stuff (hello, Johnny Carson). Earlier this week, New York Jets wide receiver Malachi Corley told his X followers that he spotted a UFO in Florida.

Corley, 23, was not playing games. On X, or the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, he claimed that he spotted an unidentified flying object in the sky for over 30 minutes before ultimately vanishing.

“Say whatever you want,” Corley wrote on X. “This object (UFO) was legitimately up in the sky for over 30 minutes. I watched it. I stopped watching for about [two] minutes and looked up, (and) it was gone. No trace.”

The soon-to-be sophomore Jets weapon is coming off a disappointing rookie campaign. Tallying just 16 yards on 3 receptions, Corley’s greatest contribution came on the ground (rushing for 26 yards on 2 attempts).

With Aaron Rodgers at the helm, the third-round pick could not crack the lineup as a trusted receiver. Corley dressed for just nine games, making a minimal impact.

As far as his UFO claims are concerned, hey, who knows?

In today’s world—the year 2025—I suppose very little could surprise humanity at this point. Witnessing a great purple blotch in the night sky could aptly be described as a run-of-the-mill phenomenon.

By no means would I dispute Malachi Corley’s UFO claims. At the same time, I’m sure New York Jets fans would wager a hefty amount that a hostile extraterrestrial takeover is more likely than a winning season in 2025.
