Four years, $130 million ($90 million of which is fully guaranteed), and a long-term place to call home is precisely what transpired in the New York Jets’ WR1’s life this summer.
Much to the delight of Jets fandom, Garrett Wilson is still a Jet and plans on keeping that idea intact over the long haul. Perhaps that’s just one of the reasons Wilson dresses his wall with classic photos of yesteryear.
On Sunday, Wilson showcased three classic pictures on his wall (what we can only assume is his home’s wall), per Instagram. Two of the three feature New York Jets legend Joe Namath.

Wilson, 25, shared an Instagram story with a photo of three pictures hanging on his wall captioned “Happy Sunday.” The Sunday in question happens to be the final one without pro football until next year.
In 17 games last season, the Jets’ top weapon totaled 1,104 yards and 7 touchdowns on 101 receptionsโall of which are career single-season highs. Despite the impressive statistical output, not everything has gone swimmingly for the Ohio State product around these parts.
A reported rift with then-quarterback Aaron Rodgers hung around Wilson and the locker room for a good chunk of the season. Even worse has been the consistent losing the Wilson-involved Jets squads have done since he entered the league in 2022.
However, things feel different for Wilson and the 2025 Jets.
With new head coach Aaron Glenn preaching accountability, the young team seemingly enters the new season with a different attitude. Wilson’s quarterback, who is also a new addition, is in the form of former collegiate teammate Justin Fields.
While only time can tell us if Wilson’s Jets will ultimately turn things around for the better, he’s at least embraced organizational history and is proud to showcase it.
As seen above, the two Namath pictures hanging on his wall feature Broadway Joe’s classic mink coat snapshot and another with him exiting the field. For those wondering, the third picture is another classic: Kansas City Chiefs legend Len Dawson smoking a cigarette during Super Bowl I.
Garrett Wilson and the New York Jets are preparing for their Week 1 matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
