The New York Jets will look to extend their winning streak to three games on Thursday night as they head up to Foxborough, Mass., to face off against their division rivals, the New England Patriots.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn classified the primetime clash as a “fight”.

“This is going to be a fight, but we welcome the fight,” said Glenn. “Looking forward to it, a Thursday night where there are a number of factors that go into these games that I keep between me and the players that we have to be able to do to go out there and operate the way we need to, so we’re looking forward to this one.”

Listed as 12.5-point road underdogs by FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jets are staring down a difficult matchup Thursday night, made even tougher by the absences of star wide receiver Garrett Wilson and starting cornerback Azareyeโ€™h Thomas.

The Patriots, 8-2, enter the primetime matchup fresh off a 28-23 road win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New England holds a firm lead in the AFC East and continues to build its case as a legitimate contender, led by quarterback Drake Maye, the current MVP favorite at +250 on FanDuel.

The odds, the injuries, the environmentโ€”none of it favors the Jets. But Glennโ€™s message has been clear all week: embrace the fight.

Thursday night will show whether this team can continue its win streak against one of the NFL’s premier teams, or that it is not yet built for the primetime lights.
