Each year, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler ranks the top 10 players at every position, based on his polling of over 70 NFL executives, scouts, and coaches.

On Sunday, he unveiled the interior offensive line rankings generated by those votes.

Here is a look at the top 10:

  1. Tyler Smith, G, Dallas Cowboys
  2. Quenton Nelson, G, Indianapolis Colts
  3. Creed Humphrey, C, Kansas City Chiefs
  4. Quinn Meinerz, G, Denver Broncos
  5. Joe Thuney, G, Chicago Bears
  6. Chris Lindstrom, G, Atlanta Falcons
  7. Trey Smith, G, Kansas City Chiefs
  8. Tyler Linderbaum, C, Las Vegas Raiders
  9. Peter Skoronski, G, Tennessee Titans
  10. Aaron Brewer, C, Miami Dolphins

Grey Zabel, Tyler Booker, Elgton Jenkins, and Robert Hunt were each honorable mentions, while Landon Dickerson, Zach Frazier, Connor McGovern, Kevin Dotson, Cam Jurgens, Steve Avila, Erik McCoy, and Jonah Jackson received votes.

Thus far, the only New York Jets players to get recognition in these rankings include tackle Armand Membou, who received votes, and running back Breece Hall, who ranked 10th.

Was Joe Tippmann, though, snubbed in these IOL rankings?

Playing his first NFL season at guard, Tippmann had some growing pains early in 2025 before settling into his role. From Weeks 7-18, Tippmann led all right guards with an 81.4 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus.

If he hadn’t gotten off to such a rocky start and maintained that level of play throughout the season, he certainly should have been on the list.

Given that he struggled a bit early on and it was his first season in the position, it isn’t surprising to see him left off this list. Perhaps you could make a case that he should have received votes, or maybe snuck into the honorable mention category, but anything more than that is a reach.

However, as he enters his second NFL season at guard with a full offseason to prepare, the Wisconsin product appears poised for a breakout year after finishing 2025 on an excellent note and earning a three-year extension this offseason.
