Avery Williamson recently celebrated the trade that moves him from the woeful New York Jets to the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.
Avery Williamson has channeled his inner-Bart Scott. He just had to add one word and include it as part of a bigger sentence.
“I can’t wait.”
Well, it’s somewhat similar to Scott’s capper after the New York Jets‘ famous divisional-round victory over the New England Patriots back in January 2011 (the 2010 season).
Williamson, 28, took to social media to showcase his excitement over the trade that sent him to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Going to the ‘Burgh. Let’s go, Man,” Williamson said. “I need me a Super Bowl, Pittsburgh. I couldn’t even sleep last night. I’m hype. I’m a baller, now. I’m ready to go hit sh-t, man. I can’t wait to be part of this defense. We’re gonna go crazy, man.”
New Steelers ILB Avery Williamson just went live on his way to the airport: “I need me a Super Bowl, Pittsburgh. I couldn’t even sleep last night. I’m hype. I’m a baller, now. I’m ready to go hit shit, man. I can’t wait to be part of this defense. We’re gonna go crazy, man.” pic.twitter.com/SKnkSF1MgN

Williamson also said his goodbyes to Jets fans in an interesting way:

He and Jamal Adams even got together in the comments section. Williamson prognosticated on a possible Steelers-Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl where former Jets defenders would meet.
Williamson finished his Jet career with 59 tackles (39 solo), nine passes defended, two interceptions and three sacks over 23 games (22 started).
He’ll join a Steelers team in desperate need of healthy inside linebackers. Devin Bush‘s presence on IR turned the position into one of desperate need for the undefeated Western Pennsylvania football squad.
Blake Cashman, Harvey Langi and Bryce Hager are the three individuals who’ll be tasked with filling the Jets’ newest void after a trade: inside linebacker.
