The New York Jets’ Week 11 inactives include injured quarterback Sam Darnold and rookie offensive guard Cameron Clark.
The New York Jets head into their Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers without five inactive players.
Included in the five is quarterback Sam Darnold who will miss his fourth game of the season, courtesy of the shoulder injury sustained against the Denver Broncos, and later reinjured in Kansas City.

Darnold, 23, continues to navigate through a horrendous season from a number of standpoints. Not only is he not producing (1,045 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions in six games), but he is also the subject of potential future plans.
Waiting for a team to grab him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft is Trevor Lawrence—assuming he forgoes his senior season in Clemson. Considering Joe Douglas didn’t draft the USC quarterback, it’s nearly impossible to think the Jets would pass up Lawrence if they landed at No. 1.
Joe Flacco will make his fourth start of the season against the Bolts on Sunday. It’ll be the Jets’ first game in Los Angeles since a 1993 matchup that saw the then-Los Angeles Raiders defeat Bruce Coslet‘s team in the final seconds, 24-20.
Rookie quarterback James Morgan, linebacker Blake Cashman, offensive lineman Cameron Clark and kicker Sergio Castillo round out the inactives this week. Cashman has been dealing with injuries.
Castillo’s absence means Sam Ficken is back after missing the last three contests with a bum groin.
The Jets and Chargers are scheduled to kick things off at 4:05 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium.
