FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a special pre-launch bonus to Massachusetts bettors who sign up before they officially go live in the state: a $100 instant bonus just for creating an account and making an initial $10 deposit.
This sports betting offer can’t be topped, as it can be combined with any new user promos once FanDuel is up and running in Massachusetts. Currently, that bonus in other states where FanDuel is live is a $1,000 No-Sweat First Bet.

FanDuel Super Bowl 58 Odds
While you’re waiting for FanDuel to launch in Massachusetts, check out some of their Super Bowl futures bets. These odds will rapidly change once free agency begins, so if you have a hunch about a particular team, get your bet in as soon as you can before the oddsmakers catch up.
Here are some intriguing odds that you might want to consider.
Detroit Lions, +2500
Despite Detroit’s porous defense in 2022, it’s currently tied for the ninth-best Super Bowl 58 odds at +2500. Although this bet is not steep enough to put big money on, it might be worth a flier at a low number.
Dan Campbell inspires a tremendous amount of confidence as the Lions’ brash and passionate head coach. Meanwhile, retaining offensive coordinator Ben Johnson was a huge coup for Detroit, as Johnson was the mastermind behind one of the league’s best offenses in 2022, bookended by a top offensive line.
Per Over the Cap, the Lions have the 11th-most cap space in the NFL at $22.2 million. They also have the unexpected luxury of the No. 6 overall pick in the draft thanks to the Matthew Stafford trade, as well as their own No. 18 pick.
Expect Detroit to beef up their defense in free agency and the draft. The cornerback position is a particular weakness for the Lions.
However, Aidan Hutchinson was a great potential cornerstone add in last year’s draft, as the rookie put up 9.5 sacks and 3 interceptions and finished second in the Defensive Rookie of the Year voting. Hutchinson came on particularly strong at the end of the year and looks to be a future game-wrecker from the edge position.
It’s easy to underestimate Jared Goff, but the veteran QB finished second in DYAR and fourth in DVOA among quarterbacks in 2022. Incidentally, those numbers are better than Matthew Stafford’s in his 2021 Super Bowl season in which he finished sixth in DYAR and ninth in DVOA.
The main difference between 2022 Goff and 2021 Stafford was the defenses backing them up. The Rams finished fifth in defensive DVOA in 2021, while the Lions finished 28th in that category in 2022.
If the Lions improve their defense and get a full healthy year out of Jameson Williams, why can’t they make noise in the NFC?
The division is ripe for the taking, as Green Bay has quarterback questions, Minnesota was mostly a fraud in 2022 and can be expected to regress, and the Bears have too many holes to fill in one free agency and draft class, no matter how potentially deep.
Atlanta Falcons, +7500
If the Falcons can acquire Lamar Jackson, a quick turnaround could be in the works. They have long been rumored as a perfect destination since they’re searching for their post-Matt Ryan solution and have an offense predicated on a running QB in Marcus Mariota.
Kyle Pitts has languished in Atlanta with his skillset underutilized. Jackson loves an athletic tight end. In Drake London, the Falcons would also provide the high-upside WR that Jackson has never played with.
Furthermore, Atlanta is flush with cap space at $55.5 million, the second-highest in the NFL. They also have the No. 8 overall pick, which could give Baltimore the chance to select Jackson’s successor if they were to trade him away.
Best of all for Baltimore, Atlanta is in the NFC, far away from torturing them with his potential success.
If the Falcons do acquire Jackson, they become the runaway favorites to win the NFC South, a division that has no set starting quarterbacks as of now. The NFC is thin on high-end roster talent outside of the Eagles, so +7500 could potentially be a bargain with Jackson at the Falcons’ helm.
Houston Texans, +20000
Just for the fun of it, why not bet on a worst-to-champs turnaround for the Texans? The Cincinnati Bengals have shown how quickly a quarterback can turn a franchise around. While this is not to suggest that Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Will Levis, or Anthony Richardson will ascend to Joe Burrow’s ranks in their rookie year, anything is possible.
In a weak division, just the quarterback may be enough to make some noise. The Texans still have bookend left tackle Laremy Tunsil and a promising young back in Dameon Pierce. They’re also fifth in the NFL in cap space at $37.6 million.
Yes, the AFC is really tough, which is why these odds are so narrow. But if you’re going to take a flier, why not make it the Texans?
