See the gift Sauce Gardner gave to Aaron Rodgers to welcome him to the New York Jets
Sauce Gardner‘s elite play on the field for the New York Jets comes second to only one other thing: his swag both on and off it.
It started on draft night when the No. 4 overall pick donned a sizzling Sauce necklace—both his name and a bottle, etched in diamonds.
Gardner had explained that he had his favorite jeweler, whom he called Al the Jeweler. Now, Sauce said that his guy asked if he could cook up something special for the latest Jets celebrity: Aaron Rodgers.
Gardner teased the gift in his press conference on Friday. He then delivered it on Saturday.

Gardner was likely right in his presser. It may not be Rodgers’ style, but the Jets quarterback clearly finds his young teammate’s antics amusing. Asking Gardner to put the diamond-encrusted No. 8 necklace on him was a nice touch.
It remains to be seen how often Rodgers actually wears the necklace. Gardner donned his Sauce getup at the NFL Honors ceremony when he won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. If things go right for the Jets, maybe Rodgers can sport his own glittering getup to the ceremony in preparation for the league’s top honor.
Gardner and the Jets have completed three days of training camp practices since their first practice on July 20. New York was the first team to begin training camp due to its presence in the Hall of Fame game, which is only 11 days away (Aug. 3). Jets fans will not see Gardner, Rodgers, or most other starters in that game, per head coach Robert Saleh.
