One of the major reasons PENN Entertainment pivoted from Barstool Sportsbook (PENN’s previous sportsbook partner) to ESPN involves the regulation process.
When dealing with regulators, a company’s pristine image is of the utmost importance. No matter anybody’s thoughts on Dave Portnoy and Barstool, PENN and Barstool Sportsbook endured tough times in that regard—even admitted by Portnoy himself.
These days, PENN’s ability to launch into additional states, with ESPN Bet, is a much more optimistic idea. Therefore, this bodes well for states like New York—as an ESPN Bet NY Promo Code could be on the horizon.

Amon-Ra St. Brown & DJ Moore Receiving Touchdown (+450)
The ESPN Bet app has a unique special player props section. These props contain multiple players with a projected prop with the betting odds attached. In essence, these Specials are parlays put into a single bet.
And for the Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears NFL Week 11 game, there are plenty of prop specials to target.
The first Special I’m looking to target focuses on the WR1 of each team. Amon-Ra St. Brown may only have 4 touchdowns on the year, but he shows up in big games. He’s scored in the team’s only other divisional matchup this year.
He also hit pay-dirt in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, and in Week 10 in a shootout with the Los Angeles Chargers. I’m expecting ARSB to prove a point this week in a tough matchup against Jaylon Johnson.
DJ Moore is getting Justin Fields back in Week 11—and that’s tremendous news for the 26-year-old wide receiver. Moore has all five of his touchdowns in six games with Justin Fields this season. With the Ohio State signal caller back under center for the Bears, a heavy dose of DJ Moore should be expected.
Week 10 proved that the Lions’ secondary can be exploited for big gains. With the playmaking ability of Moore, there’s a good chance it lands him in the end zone in Week 11.

Jared Goff Over 249.5 Pass Yards, Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 79.5 Receiving Yards, & David Montgomery Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (+1000)
This prop has a lot going on, but there’s a lot to like despite the seemingly longshot odds. Let’s start with quarterback Jared Goff. The Lions’ QB has surpassed 250 passing yards in all but three games this season.
On average, the Bears defense gives up 255.5 passing yards this year. I expect the return of Justin Fields should allow the Bears to hang around long enough for Goff to surpass this mark.
As for Amon-Ra St. Brown, the 24-year-old has hit this prop in all but one game this season. St. Brown has emerged as an elite wide receiver and is the focal point of Detroit’s passing attack. He has yet to have a contest in which he’s been held to under five catches. Even in a tough cornerback matchup, I’m expecting ARSB to hit this prop.
Like the other two listed before him, David Montgomery has shown he can hit his individual prop with relative ease. In his last three healthy games, Montgomery has passed the 100-yard mark.
The Bears have put on the clamps against running backs this season, but in all honesty, they haven’t played many teams that can run the ball well.
Their blowout against the Commanders led to Washington only running six times—while the Broncos a healthy 5.6 yards per rush in their Week 4 matchup. With the Lions hosting one of the best rushing attacks in the league (and the potential ‘revenge game’ plotline), I think Montgomery can make this prop interesting.
Jared Goff Over 1.5 Passing TD, Amon-Ra St Brown Receiving TD, & David Montgomery Rushing TD (+575)
Divisional matchups never play out how they’re imagined. Despite that, I’m nearly all-in on the Lions this week. I think the Bears will do enough to stick around, and that will present plenty of successful parlay paths for ESPN Bet opportunists.
Jared Goff has only threw for more than two touchdowns four times this season, but that’s because the running game of Detroit has been one of the best in the league. Goff is sixth in passing touchdowns this season with the best TD:INT in the NFL. He goes against a susceptible Bears secondary that’s let plenty of good quarterbacks feast this year.
Removing the Bears’ Week 7 game against the Raiders (featuring Brian Hoyer and rookie Aidan O’Connell), and their Week 10 snooze-fest with the Panthers, the Bears are averaging 2.25 passing touchdowns allowed to quarterbacks.
Even accounting for those two games, the defense allows 1.9 TDs per game—meaning this prop is attainable for Goff.
David Montgomery faces his former team in Week 11, and despite the odds on this prop, there’s a reason I’m taking it. Montgomery has scored a touchdown in every game he’s played at least 30% of the offensive snaps.
He’s become a focal point of the Lions’ red zone offense and has shown an ability to make big plays this year as well.

Even if the Bears defense can put a clamp on the total yards of the Lions’ rushing attack, I don’t think they’ll keep Detroit out of the red zone—and that’s where Montgomery shines.
Monty has the seventh-most attempts in the NFL inside the 10-yard line (18), and he’s tied for second for the most attempts inside the opponent’s 5-yard line (10). When Detroit is looking to score, Montgomery is the one they let lead the charge. Therefore, expect him to cash in on Sunday.
