“Yeah, I’m banged up a little bit, but I’m OK… I’ve got some stuff with both legs. So, I’ll get in the hot tub here in a little bit.”
Rodgers, regarding multiple incomplete passes to Garrett Wilson late in the game, said he and the wideout were “not on the same page.” Rodgers was also critical of his own performance.
“I think we were kind of killing ourselves. I can’t say I had a spectacular game. I missed some throws. The weather sucked, but so did some of my throws. So, we had some chances, but way too many mental mistakes, too many poor throws, and then we just missed some easy stuff, some protection stuff that should have been easy, some route adjustment stuff that should have been easy. We were just, I don’t know, our focus just wasn’t as sharp as it has been the first three weeks.”
The quarterback supported Breece Hall after his rough performance against Denver, saying that “Breece is a hell of a player” and that “We’ve got to do a better job of getting him runs to get in space.”
Additionally, the quarterback appeared to disagree on one subject with head coach Robert Saleh, who said that the team may need to dial back their cadence on offense.
“That’s one way to do it. The other way is to hold them accountable. We haven’t had an issue; we’ve had one false start. Morgan (Moses) had one false start, I believe, until this. It’s been a weapon. We use it every day in practice. We rarely have a false start, and to have five today, it seemed like, four or five, it seems like an outlier. I don’t know if we need to make mass changes based on kind of an outlier game.”
