Biggest Questions
Will starters play?
After opening with their starters in last week’s game at Green Bay, head coach Aaron Glenn declined to say whether they would see the field this week.
“The plan is the plan,” Glenn told reporters following the team’s second joint practice this week with the crosstown rivals. “That’s the plan.”
The final decision on playing time likely won’t be clear until the team takes the field at MetLife.
Will the penalties be narrowed down?
Aaron Glenn has established that he does not tolerate undisciplined football. However, the Jets continued to commit an abundance of penalties in Saturday’s opener, including multiple personal fouls that could have been easily avoided.
The team finished the game with 10 penalties for 91 yards.
“I have to address that,” Glenn told the media twice following the win in Green Bay.
Tonight will test whether Glenn’s message has resonated with his players and can translate to the field.
