In 2025, New York Jets running back Breece Hall had his best NFL season as a rusher, eclipsing 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career.
However, he is crediting his career-best rushing season to the Jets’ offensive line, particularly their two young tackles, Armand Membou and Olu Fashanu.
Taking to his Instagram story on Tuesday, Hall posted a video of him, Fashanu, and Membou on one of the Jets’ practice fields at 1 Jets Drive, while joyfully stating, “I just want y’all to see my two future $100M tackles right here – they’re the ones that make me look good.”
Membou is coming off a highly impressive rookie season, where he started all 17 games for the Jets at right tackle. He finished the year with an overall grade of 72.7 from Pro Football Focus, ranking 14th among 32 qualified right tackles.
Most excitingly, he is one of the most athletic tackles to enter the NFL in recent years, and he’s just 22 years old.
“He can be the best run-blocker in the league,” an NFL coordinator told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “Just a big, long, powerful man.”
As for Fashanu, he has certainly shown flashes throughout his two years in the NFL. The 2025 season was his first full year as a starter after spending his rookie campaign as a primary backup and making seven starts.
In Weeks 7-18 last season, among 70 qualified tackles, his 80.2 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus ranked 10th in the league, just 0.2 points behind Detroit Lions star Penei Sewell.
Now, entering 2026, he’s looking to produce at that level throughout all 17 games. And as we broke down, he is in a really good spot to accomplish just that this season.
Hall’s words say it all: the Jets are in a really good spot at both tackle positions for the future.
