EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Just when the MetLife Stadium crowd was down and out, the New York Jets gave them something to cheer about.
With just a few ticks remaining on the clock, Aaron Rodgers executed one of his patented Hail Mary tosses, this time hitting Allen Lazard to pull the Jets within three of the Buffalo Bills.

Rodgers finished the first half with 192 yards and two touchdowns (to no interceptions) on 13 of 17 passing. Garrett Wilson hauled in the other touchdown, as he also enjoyed a nice first half.
Whereas Todd Downing’s offense came out flying, Jeff Ulbrich’s defense is still searching for answers. They haven’t been able to keep Josh Allen in the pocket, and they haven’t even come close to stopping the rushing attack.
The Bills currently lead the Jets, 20-17, at halftime on Monday Night Football.
